i think it’s important to remember that our government/corporations/etc. try to keep us so busy and uneducated that we don’t have the time, energy, or mental capacity to ask more of ourselves, move beyond acting “mindlessly”, or engage in complex thought processes. i think the fingers are being pointed at the individual when they should be pointed at the systems that keep the individual stuck in these cycles. so moral of the story is have more compassion for your fellow humans. we are not better than anyone else. we are all One.
